Duane Cyrus presents 2 works for the UNCG Dance Department's Faculty Concert.
An evening of dance works created by Dance Department faculty including Cyrus, Robin Gee, Larry Lavendar, Janet Lilly, and BJ Sullivan. Duane Cyrus will present Atmosphere for Missing You as well as an all new reworking of Location of Spirit with live music and vocalists. Special guest artist James A Pierce III will perform. Pierce is currently performing on Broadway in Disney's The Lion King.

Maurice Chestnut, the tap sensation who was recruited by tap master Savion Glover, to join the national touring company of the Tony Award winning Bring In ‘Da Noise, Bring In ‘Da Funk and continues to work with Glover on international and national tours. Chestnut’s high profile engagements have included the JVC Jazz Festival, the Playboy Jazz Festival, The Apollo Theater, and Birdland, as well as appearances at Carnegie Hall and throughout Europe. Maurice will teach a TAP MASTER CLASS the same day February 18th 2:30-4:00 pm at the Cultural Arts Center!
Rahbi, the amazing vocalist! Returns to Greensboro after wowing the audience in last year’s Vital Grace showcase! He has opened for Erykah Badu and is gaining attention for his unique vocal style
Jeffrey Page, UNCG students will present workshop choreography by Jeffrey Page, an Emmy-nominated, and MTV’s 2011 Video Music Award winning choreographer. His works include MTV award winning choreography for Beyonce's riveting smash hit, Run The World (Girls) and choreography for the Fox hit series, So You Think You Can Dance. Page will appear at this event.
